Caregiver

The Henri and Belinda Termeer Center for Targeted Therapies at the Mass General Cancer Center is a place where new therapeutic discoveries in cancer treatment are made and where hope for the next generation of cancer patients is founded. The essential work of the Termeer Center would not be possible without Carrie Quadrino, associate director of the Cancer Center Protocol Office.

Over the past four years, the number of phase I clinical trials taking place at the Mass General Cancer Center has more than tripled. In response to this growth, Carrie has managed the hiring, training and supervising of the largest research staff in the Cancer Center. Her team spearheads phase I clinical trials that lead to the development and standardization of targeted treatments for cancer patients. Carrieā€™s work ensures that the trials move along smoothly. Anticipating challenges and addressing potential roadblocks before they can cause delays, Carrie is a linchpin of the Termeer Center. Thanks to her strong leadership skills, the Termeer Center is poised for continued growth, creating hope and brighter futures for patients every day.
