The Danversbank Charitable Foundation and Kevin Noyes
2011 Honoree
Corporate Collaborator
The North Shore Medical Center is the largest healthcare provider to towns north of Boston. Also serving these communities is Danversbank, which has had a long association with the center.
Founded in 1991, the center’s annual North Shore Cancer WALK has raised more than $16 million for cancer research. A gift from Danversbank of $150,000 over five years has been the largest single contribution to the WALK to date.
Kevin Noyes, director of the Danversbank Charitable Foundation, will chair the 21st annual WALK on Sunday, June 26, 2011. As a member of the WALK’s 20th Anniversary Committee, Kevin (pictured top row, third from left, along with the Noyes family team of 2010) was instrumental in making the 2010 WALK a success. His personal and professional leadership are great assets to the WALK.
Danversbank lives up to its promise to be a pillar of the community and that core value is evident in its entire staff, many of whom are neighbors and WALK participants. Of all the charitable activities that Danversbank employees take part in, the WALK is one of their most popular projects. Team Danversbank draws about 30 employees to the WALK each year as well as friends and family.
