Director, Pediatric Radiation Oncology

As the director of Pediatric Radiation Oncology at the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Cancer Center, Torunn Yock, MD, MCH, understands and responds to the emotional needs of her young patients and their families. Dr. Yock develops warm and trusting relationships with the children
and their parents. With a positive and open manner, she relieves their anxieties and helps them go through treatment with more understanding and confidence.

“Dr. Yock is an amazing doctor who provided my daughter Chloe and me with her expertise in such a comforting way,” writes Debbie Paoletta. “She spoke candidly but always from the heart. From our first meeting, we had faith in her.

“Dr. Yock gave us direction and she gave us hope,” Debbie continues. “She made our journey through proton therapy so much easier. We feel privileged to have been under her care and will forever be grateful for such a positive experience during this difficult time.”
